bailouts to save jobs...?

It was said that the bailouts were to protect the jobs of our working class. Workers in Chicago were laid-off without proper notification, eventhough Bank of America was part of the recent financial bailout.

Workers occupied the building to protect the assets they (rightfully) believe belong to them. They have continued maintenance of the building during their occupation.
