WOW!! I cannot express how crazy I think everything is right now. If you've been experiencing the bliss from ignorance, you're about to experience a very rude awakening, if you haven't experienced it already. Forget the absurdity of the Republican ticket and the absurdity of their supporters. Check out our falling economy.

Greed and self interest have finally caught up with the nation as a whole. I mean the low income folks have been experiencing the unjust way of our greedy economic system forever but now the nation's seeing it and their shocked. But, why? Capitalism is more than just an economic practice it is the framework to our mind set. We're taught that success is financial gain for our self. We're taught to compete against the next person. And, what's mine is MINE! So why is anyone shocked that folks have stepped on whoever they need to in order to get whatever they want and have taken us into the current position we're at? This has been going on forever but so many weren't paying attention when it was just happening to those ol' poor folks.

As I mentioned before, Che pointed out that we cannot change our country without changing its consciousness. Where is our education about community? About caring for other folks? About us being in this together? And, I'm not talking about just getting this education in low income neighborhoods where so many activists live. We need the rich, private school folks to learn about this concept. It's not just about them. If they want to know why not besides some kind of human deceny and concern, then it's because they can only get so far before it backfires. Look, our economy is falling and I will be shocked if it doesn't continue to fall even further. Our country is not going to survive (at the level we believe it to be) with our current concept of self interest. Maybe capitalism isn't impossible, but it sure ain't working the way we've got it going.
